PHOTO REPORT: EPCOT 8/3/22 (Marvel Mystery Pin Set, Princess Magnets, BoardWalk Construction Continues, & More)

Jan 20, 2024

Hello from EPCOT! Today, we’re making our way around the park and Disney's BoardWalk to see what's going on.

It's a beautiful, sunny summer day! The park entrance is one of our favorite photo spots.

We started our day in Pin Traders under Spaceship Earth where we found a new Marvel mystery pin collection featuring our favorite heroes and a few Guardians.

Over in Creations, we found a fun new Star Wars merchandise item. "Choose your path" is on this reversible picnic tote.

You can use it as a large blanket for picnics and it converts back into a tote.

There are more princess magnets near the registers. Mulan is on this geometric "True to myself" magnet.

Mickey and Minnie Mouse are on a new set of rainbow socks near the apparel.

Look at all those Mickeys!

Our Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind boarding group was called! We’re super excited for the holiday tracks to come out later this year. What do you think will be on it?

There are plenty of Iron Man Infinity Gauntlets available at Treasures of Xandar. It's been awhile since we’ve seen Thanos’ Infinity Gauntlet or the Eye of Agamotto.

Over at the Imagination pavilion, there is still a ton of Flower and Garden Festival merchandise on the shelves featuring Figment.

Wait times were fairly low all over the park today, we made sure to hop on Living with the Land since no one was in line. When we popped over to World Showcase later in the day, Frozen only had a 20 minute wait!

If you have the patience to wait a few minutes for the Monorail to pass you by, the walkway from Imagination heading towards World Showcase is a great photo spot! Obviously we did not wait too long for it today.

Port of Entry is stocked with Food & Wine Festival merchandise including Remy & Chef Mickey. Do you have a favorite?

More work is being done on the ‘Harmonious’ barges. You can often spot a crane out on the water during the day.

Another new digital tip board was installed at the America Gardens Theatre. These replaced the standard sign boards that used to be in the same spot on either side.

World Showcase was pretty empty this morning. Most of the pavilions were completely deserted.

We took a walk down to the BoardWalk to check in on progress at BoardWalk Bakery and the future Cake Bake Shop.

Not much visible change is happening on the exteriors since our last visit, but BoardWalk Deli, taking the place of the bakery, is slated to open later this month.

The lighthouse at the Friendship Boat Dock near Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts is still undergoing refurbishment though visible changes are hard to see.

On our way out we drove by the DVC Billboard of Goofy driving a Disney Vacation Club and it appears as though he is only being refurbished (Phew!). We’re glad that this old billboard is staying up for now! Thanks for following along today!
